XAT Exam, which is also known as Xavier Admission Test, is conducted for admission into various postgraduate programs in the field of management. The entrance test is conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur for the admission in Xavier Institutes and many other prominent management institutes in India. Xavier Admission Test is a national level entrance test.
Eligibility
Eminent management schools in India admit students on the basis of XAT entrance exam. The format of the entrance test changes from year to year, which makes it one of the toughest entrance exams to crack in India. Xavier Labour Relations Institute has regulated many eligibility norms for the admission seekers. Some of them are given below.
- The candidates need to have passed graduation or its equivalent under 10+2+3 examination pattern from any recognized University or a Deemed University.
- For the one-year General Management Program, the candidates must have possessed three years of Bachelor’s degree with not less than five years of managerial experience after graduation. During the admission, they must provide documentary evidences of their work experience.
- The result awaited candidates or who have appeared for final year of examination or final year appearing candidates, as decided by XAT Member Institutes, may also apply for the Xavier Admission Test (XAT). But at the time of the admission, they have to present all the required documents for appearing in the qualifying examination.
