TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. The state-level entrance test is conducted by Anna University on behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu. The scores of the entrance test are accepted by Government and Government-aided Engineering, Arts and Science Colleges along with reserved government seats in private colleges.
Eligibility
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is conducted for admission into Master’s level program in Business Administration, Computer Application, Engineering, Architecture, Technology and Planning.
For MBA
The candidates, who possess Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in 10+2+3/4 pattern or 10+3 (Diploma) + 3 pattern from a recognized university, are eligible.
For MCA
The candidate should have completed graduation in any field with mathematics as a subject of study at 10+2 level. The candidates, who have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s level, are also eligible.
For M.E. /M. Tech/M. Arch. /M. Planning
The candidates with Bachelor’s degree in their respective field that is B.E. /B. Tech/B. Arch/B. Planning are eligible.
The candidates who are waiting for their result of the final examination or who are appearing in the final year or semester of qualifying examination can also apply.
