Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test (RPET) is conducted by Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, for the candidates who desire to seek admission into first year of engineering / architecture / pharmacy programs. The test is also abbreviated as RPETEAP, which stands for Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy. Various institutions except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other deemed universities accept the scores of this entrance examination.
Eligibility
In order to appear in Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test (RPET), the applicant should have passed 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or its equivalent. The candidate should be less than 23 years of age as on 1st October of the year of admission. Relaxation of three years in upper age limit is there for SC/ST candidates.
B. Tech./B.E
The candidate should have studied physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects of study along with any one of the optional subject-Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science and Biology at 10+2 level. The candidates, who are waiting for their result, can also apply.
B. Arch
- The applicants should have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board with minimum 50% aggregate marks and mathematics as a compulsory subject of study. Or
- The applicants, who have passed three years of diploma program recognized by Central/State Government with not less than 50% marks in total, are eligible.
- The candidates, who possess International Baccalaureate Diploma, after secondary examination with minimum 50%, aggregate marks and Mathematics as a subject of examination can also apply. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category relaxation of 5% is there in aforementioned percentile of marks.
