Nitte University Under-Graduate Entrance Test (NU UGET)is conducted for the admission in undergraduate level programmes in various courses. It is one of the competitive exams, which is being conducted by the Nitte University. The entrance test is being conducted for selecting the most deserving candidates for undergraduate programme in various para-medical courses. Candidates have to qualify written exam and selected candidates have to attend counseling conducted by the University, for allotment of the seats.
Eligibility:
Candidates applying for the paramedical courses of undergraduate level should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm):
Candidates must have passed in PUC /10+2 with English as one of the languages of study and securing a minimum of 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects of PCB/PCM/PC & Computer Science and PC & Electronics.
B.Sc (Nursing):
Candidates should have passed in PUC/10+2 securing a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects of PCB & English, taken together or vocational subjects.
Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT):
Candidates must have passed in PUC/10+2 securing a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects of PCB and English as one of the languages of study.
B.Sc. in Imaging Technology (IT):
Candidates should have passed Pre-University Examination of Karnataka with PCB/PCM/PCMB or Diploma holders from the Para-medical board of Karnataka or approved equivalent there to, with Imaging Technology as the Diploma subject.
B.Sc. in O. T. Technology (OTT):
Candidates must have passed in PUC/10+2 with PCB as optional subjects of study or Diploma holders from the Para-medical board of Karnataka or approved equivalent there to, with O.T. Technology as the as the Diploma subject.
