The Institute of Management Studies at Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla conducts Combined Management Aptitude Test, known as Himachal CMAT, as per the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh Combined Management Aptitude Test (CMAT Exam) is conducted for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered at various institutes/colleges and universities in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Eligibility
To appear in the management aptitude test, the admission seekers have to clear all the eligibility prerequisites, which are set by the institute. The general eligible requirements are given below.
- The candidates should not be more than 26 years of age except NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign National candidates/students, and serving/retired defence personnel. For the SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation of three years in the upper age limit.
- The candidates need to have passed in graduation or its equivalent examination under 10+2+3 scheme, from any recognized University.
- The qualifying examination must be passed by the candidates with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. In case of SC/ST candidates, they need to have passed graduation with at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- The candidates, who are appearing in final year of qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply for appearing in the entrance test.
