ASSO – CET entrance test is an all-India level competitive exam. The students, who seek their admission in relevant institutes in Maharashtra, have to appear in the common entrance test. For the admission seekers who are above 17 years of age, the eligibility conditions are given below.
- The candidates have to pass Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from Maharashtra State Board or any recognized state/national Board.
- The candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the qualifying examination. The reserved and open categories candidates, like Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes / Physically Handicapped, must have passed qualifying examination with minimum 40% marks in aggregate in science subjects and English.
- The candidates, who have appeared/waiting for results/appearing in the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply for the ASSO – CET entrance test. For that, they have to provide all the necessary certificates as an evidence of passing the examination at the time of admission.
