Aligarh Muslim University Combined Admission Test, popularly known as AMU CAT, is conducted by Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The entrance exam is conducted for candidates seeking admissions into medical courses at the undergraduate level. Selected candidates, who have qualified entrance exam, have to attend counseling conducted by the University and medical fitness test, for further proceedings of university.
Eligibility for AMU CAT:
Candidates seeking admission into undergraduate level medical or dental courses have to fulfill the general eligibility criteria given below.
- Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of the University or an examination recognized by the University as its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Candidate must have obtained minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Candidate must have attained the age of 17 years on 31st December, 2010 or at the time of admission.
- No relaxation shall be made in the age limit under any circumstances.
